As per the title, any of us owners of these beastly polluting vehicles been targeted? Clearly a class/wealth biased action. Unless this lot universally use bikes, foot or PT to get around, there’s a high probability that most of the SUVs they’re targeting (city centre, wealthy middle class areas) are Euro 5 or 6 and probably pollute less than these idiots 30 year old 1l diesel Renault Clio or even worse, their converted Bedford van.

No, but I did buy some of those dust caps that can only be removed by removing a hex bolt.

I can't find the exact ones that I bought, but they were like these:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Union-theft-locka...amp;sr=8-3 The little stickers are now all falling off. It's also best to remove them before you take them to a garage for servicing in case they don't notice the bolt. |

I bought this for the wife's Velar to replace my old Truck Air compressor that had lasted for years but became old and slow.
https://www.halfords.com/tools/garage-equi...=undefined The best thing about this compressor is that - 1- standard 12v plug so no messing with the battery especially as so many are hidden now 2- its a twin motor and is fast. 20's take a surprising amount of air to get up to pressure and this saves time. It has a ten minute duty cycle but because it is so fast it will easily blow up a deflated tyre 3- when its connected to the tyre valve the shown pressure reading is accurate according to my handheld gauge, its then easy to input the required pressure start it then wait for it to stop automatically. 4- the above makes it very easy to use so if you (like me) can be assured that the missus can use it without the need to keep taking it off the check the pressures with a separate gauge. Other uses we have had is to use it when airing up the Velar's tyres to the heavy setting when loaded up for holidays and seating tubeless bike tyres as it come complete with a presta adapter. I bought this last May and kept meaning to do a quick review because of those stupid vandals. Hope this helps |
