The bolt doesn't look right - it shouldn't project like that - but yes, the trim does stop there. Darren

The bolt is far too long, it should not extend out of the pillar. The trim does stop there and there is a hole with the bolt-ends visible, I found the a huge draft came out of mine so I covered them (neatly) with black duct tape to stop the gale.

If you’ve bought a hinge kit. That bolt should be for the lower hinge.
You should match up the new bolts with the old ones. You’ll see the difference then between top and bottom hinge. 2008 2.4 110 Utility Station Wagon XS. |

CSI does some plugs to cover these holes in the B pillar

Just above and below the hole are two M10 fixings.
I wonder what LR had them installed for? I am thinking of getting a plate made and using some plastic bolts? I think they must have thought of covering the hole and never got around to it? |
