Puma Defender Mid Crossmember Replacement
Hi All,

Just wondered if anyone could shed any light on this job.
I need to replace mine and from what I am reading its a body off job. Has anyone got any different ways or has done this job before that could help with the process.
Its a 2007 Puma Defender 110 XS 5dr.

Thanks

If you do a search there are a few topics on it, like the one above.

Thanks,
I have had a look around and I am struggling to find anything that is specific to the puma models.
Will continue to look.
If anyone has any other tips, please let me know

Your dead right, I have done a good search and can’t find anything either, perhaps Puma mid crossmembers have not had many issues yet due to lower age.

I think that the Puma mid crossmember is very similar to the TD5... The job itself will be pretty much the same I'd imagine

Thanks for your reply.
From what I can see online when looking at the part the puma mid member has four uprights which are welded to the part. it is these that are stopping it from being slid into place. Not sure if they make a bolt in one but I haven't come across one unfortunately.

Take a look at YRM... I think you'll find what you need there..... Galvanised too!
Edit:... I can't find a crossmember with bolt on uprights either 😕
You'll have to wait for a Puma owner to show up and advise
