Swing away wheel carrier
Gents, I’m looking at getting a swing away wheel carrier. Any good ones out there / ones to avoid? Currently have my eye on the Terrafirma and Mantec options. Anybody with these products care to share their experience?

TIA

Get QUALITY. It’s one of those items you only want to buy/fit once, especially with the cheaper ones where you have to drill the body.

I went with

Fantastic quality and fit.

Whilst it may not be fashionable, the Britpart one is proving to be an excellent bit of kit on my 110. It does require some holes drilling though, so if you're squeamish about that sort of thing then it's not for you.

I have just bought one. Went for Safari Equipment with high lift mount. Bought direct and ahd it galvanised and powdercoated. Grease nipples on the pivots too.
Should last ages. Good price too, less than 300 notes Thumbs Up

I have the ORE one, and is a top bit of kit. Only downside is the wait for delivery, as they have a 3 to 4 week delivery time even for items that are in stock.

Chris here from ORE
Lead times are coming down as we’ve got a full team again ( we had a 2 guys off - one with a knee replacement)

We usually ship carriers within 2 weeks as of last 2 weeks - we’re saying 4 just so we don’t upset anyone if we’re a few days late…

Cheers
Chris

I bought the britpart genuine carrier and it has genuine Landover on it and can't fault it
Only holes to drill were the two rivets at the top mount, nothing at the rear cross member as mine is galvanised
Looking now they do not seem to sell it anymore!!
