Front row underseat storage?

Hi chaps,

Am replacing my cubbybox with a middle seat so wanted to know if there is an easy way to store stuff underneath? The metal trays that block access to the gearbox, battery and ECU look like they could be modified to add a recess so that bit can be stored in there?

Has anyone done this?

There is also this storage which lifts the cubby box https://www.mudstuff.co.uk/collections/int...485209685. You could fit one of those YRM trays (which i use in both my LRs as a location for aux electricals) and fit one of the Mud stuff ones on top. If you make the Mud-Stuff one have a removable base panel then you could access the YRM tray beneath without having to remove the cubby box (this is my annoyance with my current setup)
