Retrofit CDL to '99 TD5
I'm fitting CDL and power windows to new doors (>'02 galv doors from SP).

I've found the aftermarket loom for power windows to run from battery to switch to door harness but I can't find an aftermarket loom for the CDL. Can someone help me find an aftermarket loom to make this work?! I'm not interested in finding a new main loom, too much time and money...

Thanks!

I know you’ve already sorted the EW but this might help?

Do you have a 10AS that supports CDL? - if so you can activate it and then just run the wires from the 10AS unit to your CDL motors. If you don’t you can buy one by exchanging it for your unit.

^^^ I've got, somewhere, the destructions on how to convert a non-CDL 10AS into a CDL version. adding a relay is about all it is.

And from other threads I read you can tap off of the PCB the feed that would normally control the onboard relay, to power an external CDL relay, thus using a non CDL 10AS to operate CDL.

Late to respond. Ended up going with Pace Automotive to build the required looms for CDL and power windows and 10AS upgrade. Entirely reasonable price and great quality.
