Not sure about having the bikes slung so high they are above roof level on a defender, looks like a recipe for an 'incident' and if nothing else, bad fuel economy?

I have one of these extenders with the locking quick leaver if anyone interested - £100 @ Chester

Defender has gone hence sale - used once.
