I put a few washers on the seat bolts underneath the existing rail raising it 20mm or so.
You will need 4 slightly longer "grade 8.8" bolts which you can get from a decent hardware shop which along with the washers shouldn't cost more than £2 for the lot.
That gets the seat back an inch or so,and saves a few quid. Thumbs Up

Phil, finally got round to raising the seats, but could not push them back any further due to what looks like a built in "bump stop" inside the tubing. How did you get round this? All I can think of is putting two pieces of wood/metal under both sides of the assembly to bring it higher and then bolt onto that a few inches further back. It would have to be strong though. Any ideas? Confused

Thanks

Just been outside and checked, all I have that looks like a bump stop are three “Dimples” in the upper sliding rail.
A 3mm Drill bit should sort these out,.
Can you post a picture of the part that is stopping you sliding the seat back further?
Don’t expect any miracles by raising the seat rails by using washers or Mudrails, the rear bulkhead will stop you getting the seat too much further back.
