 2015 Defender 110 Puma 2.2 SW Corris Grey
Luggage length v floor length? I’ve tried google but can’t seem to find an answer …

I’m trying to work out if my fridge/freezer would fit in the back. The manual states a max floor length behind second row seats of 983mm (passenger version M1) but a luggage length of 799mm.

Is the difference due to the rake of the second row back rests; meaning more length at floor height reducing as height increases?

I’m surprised at that, even the bigger figure is shorter than an old 110. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

Cabin space in the old 110 was never plentiful and wouldn’t be tolerated by ‘normal’ people in a modern vehicle.

Luggage space will be compromised in a newer vehicle at the expense of passenger comfort - although didn’t someone on her bemoan the lack of rear passenger leg room and the rake of the rear seats in the Grenadier on here?

Can’t speak about the new Defender or how it compares as I have never been in one
