My technique is to put my back to the pump and never look back, that way I don't know for how much I'm getting robbed - wish I was joking... Stuart

Just don’t know how fuel companies are getting away with it, crude is down to around $104 per barrel, which 20% reduction from the high, has petrol/diesel come down? Jumped ship to reliability - Mitsubishi L200

I was on the Isle of Lewis last week, diesel ranged from 191.9 to 199.9 with petrol being more expensive than diesel. 24MY 90 D250 HSE, Tasman Blue

Isn't it about time we all starting protesting and blockading London about the amount of tax this government is slapping on fuel, especially when as someone mentioned the crude price has gone down. Good old Sunak raving on about his 5p cut in fuel duty earlier this year but the pump prices haven't stopped rising since.

They have been saying that for months, but they will not move on reducing the price at all, AA and RAC stated it was down at XMAS time. But the prices were still high. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back Success is 90% Inspiration and 4 minutes Preparation # you can make it! |

There was something going about facebook, with a possible protest in locking down the a few major roads or something in. But i don't think that came to fruition, That 5p reduction never even made it to the forecourts, all they did was freeze the prices for a week, and then continued to rise. What the country needs to do is go on one massive strike, the tankers 1st, then transportation network and then everything else follow suite. Basically another lockdown, but we are in control this time Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back Success is 90% Inspiration and 4 minutes Preparation # you can make it! |

Perhaps we should just boycott all filling stations and refuse to buy fuel until it comes down in price. Do you think that would work?

Yes, it would certainly result in the price coming down, it is the other consequential difficulties that render it a challenging tactic.

I already have for a few months through no fault of my own, funds go back to repairs and the fuel in the tank has become an investment. Not for much longer though. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R 🇬🇧🏴🏴🏴🇮🇪🇺🇸⛽️🛢️⚙️🧰💪 |

£2.05 diesel in rural mid Wales today, first time I've seen any topping £2.00. The forecourt was empty both times I passed ... think a boycott will be a natural consequence of the continuing price rise! It started with a kiss, never thought it would come to this.
