filled the peugeot up from half a tank, and the fuel was at 1.48 for petrol and 1.52 for diesel. Came close to £50 for a half a tank. Which used to be £30.
Also it funny how asda is selling it practically 5p cheaper. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back Success is 90% Inspiration and 4 minutes Preparation # you can make it! |

For reference, in 2009-2013 I lived in England and had a td5 disco 2, loved that car. However I regularly could not fill it full from empty because the local Sainsbury's limited the amount of fuel dispensed to £100. Pump would cut out before the tank was full. Must have been close to 1.80 - 1.90 a liter then 10 YEARS ago.
How many things are the same price they were 10 Years ago? |

friday morning asda had the fuel 1.48 for diesel and 1.45 for petrol. That evening i went out with jasper, and saw that they had bumped diesel into the 1.50s and petrol to 1.48. So its slowly moving into the 1.50s here for petrol and diesel, even though some places were already into the 1.50s with diesel. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

In our area of Aussie, I've seen 98 octane petrol, the highest octane we can buy, & specified for many new cars these days, @ $2.30 per litre, which looking at the current exchange rate equates to 1.182 pounds, so you're a fair bit dearer than us, at the moment.
