M10 or M8 bolts for spot lamps - does it matter??
My new spot lamps came with large M10 bolts for fitting … should I drill out the mounting holes on my roof rack which are too small… or will M8s be fine. I am sorry if this is a dumb question but know I will get a sensible answer on here. Thanks Jerry

M8 with a washer under the head will be fine: if you hit something to the extent that the m8 shears off, then there won’t be much left of the lights anyway! HTH. 2011MY 130 HCPU: daily driver
