Final bits off, engine out and chassis off to be blasted. Really happy we have hopefully been able to save the chassis, see if it is possible to get another 30 years out of it

Hoping things are going to come back together in the coming weeks as there are bits of car all over the place.
Gearbox is off for overhaul and the engine is being rebuilt. On the look out for wolf wheels in white to get a rolling chassis back together. Ordered a mohair cover from All Wheel Trim for the back, will be with me in October, at the earliest..... |

I have recently fitted puma rear seats to my 2.5TD tub using YRM kit.

So the kit is to replace the tub sides with later ones? You must like riveting!

No not really, you have the aluminum covers you see in the pic with the sloped edge, you cut approx 4inches x 2 inches out of you original tub and sit this over it, there is then a large spreader plate that goes in the wheel well,
lol, luckily I have the Milwaukee cordless rivet gun. Just a note though, the kit comes with normal rivets say, so you will have to seal them up. I bought a box of sealed rivets so i had an awful lot less sealing to do. Shane |
