Actually with those symptoms the relay would be first bet rather than the switch (and it is a lot easier to get to)! Do you have access to a spare relay you can try? It would very quickly check if it was the relay at fault.

I was in two minds @blackwolf. I would expect 12v on the NLG wire at the relay with the wipers in the park position but I'm not getting one. I'll pop round the motor factors in the morning, I suspect they're more likely to have the timer relay than they are the park switch. It would save taking the whole dash to pieces.

Well...that was interesting. A bit of swapnostics during my lunch hour - New timer relay fitted, no change. New wiper park switch fitted, no change!
Upon deeper inspection the yellow/green wire had come off the back of the column switch, can't believe nobody suggested this as a potential issue!! lol ![]() The brass fitting was a bit loose, gave it a bit of a squeeze and popped it back on, wipers now working fine. |
