Mine too is a factory 3.5, albeit with a couple of wrinkles. OP I've started on a journey which I guess is similar to the one you're planning. I found mine in 2018 and have been slowly upgrading and improving things along the way. It's now got Discovery manifolds, RR down pipes and a TD5 exhaust, BBW needles, Bilstein Shocks and some of the bushes have been swapped for Poly-Bush.

The next thing is a rebuilt 3.9 to drop in as the clutch is on its way out and I thought a little more grunt would bring it to life. Then a canvas hood is the next thing on the wish list

I went with the James Taylor options (first and of course obligatory photos when they're next to a mug of tea and spanners whilst under said V8.....), all courtesy of the billionaire online book supplier... Nice and useful enough, but of course also nice to chat from real world users and what not

Thanks for sharing - looks a vehicle with character. Yes indeed similar plans and yours does sound great, although very much wanting a clean lined cruiser. A lovely white on white (with white RoStyle wheels) CSW just left the filling station as I'd arrived and was more in keeping for what I was after. Looked and sounded fantastic!


I don't seem to be finding many if I'm honest, would love to get stuck into a project (ish) I guess if anyone takes pity on my search, please do feel free to PM me....
