Warn Winch M800 in original D 90 winch bumper?
Hi
Embarassed This can be a silly rookie question but here I go:
This winch: http://www.winchdepot.com/Winches-Winch-Ac...n=WAR26502
Can be installed in the original land rover defender winch bumper?
I want to be sure before I put the order, I mean, does it fit? I dont wave to do any adaptation?
Anyone have experience with this Warn winch?

Thanks! Thumbs Up One life, live it.

Sorry can't give you a definite answer but I'm 99% sure it will, the LR bumper is very similar to the Devon 4x4 one I have on. Somebody will come along and confirm soon Thumbs Up

I have taken mine off due to the massive weight on the front, I still have the steel cable and heavy roller on it so weight can be reduced. It's like having someone sitting on your front bumper Shocked . It only takes 5 minutes to whip it off, so easy enough to replace when needed...

Thanks Zagato for your time and info.
I just order the M8000 Warn winch for my D90.
I upload 2 pics of the original winch bumper. Check out the album.
Do you have stock front shock absorbers?
Why you take your winch off? Is it that bad?
PS: Very neat 110 you have.

Thanks!!!! Thumbs Up One life, live it.

In a dash for the school run but from memory it all weighs 65KG but the Devon 4x4 bumper is a solid bit of kit, if the LR bumper is like the standard one it will be rusting in the post to you Shocked but maybe a lot lighter and maybe perfectly OK of course - quite a few owners on here have them so will hopefully comment. The fair-lead rollers also weigh a ton on their own as well as the steel cable so you could take a good chunk out of the weight by replacing those. The standard springs were fine, it didn't dip at the front, improved the ride but not the handling..............which I am now about to test to get kids to school on time Shocked Thumbs Up

Edit - looked at your bumper in the gallery looks fine but is it the deeper one for air-con which I think you have!
