Wolf rim and rust: how to cure and prevent?

Hi all, I have sourced a used set of original Wolf rims painted white. Some of these rims are rusted around the wheel nuts and on edges. This is not so hard to fix, but how to get rid of rust in the seam (the V shape intersection of the 2 welded parts of the rim) ?

Any tips and tricks are welcome

Thank you!

Greetings Lolo

In sofar as I know. Paddock were the only ones I found that did them in anthracite and they were about £375 for 5 with nuts so a bit of a bargain for something that changes the look so dramatically from boosts. Gave them a liberal coat of Acf50 so that should keep rust at bay. [/s]

Apologies if this has been mentioned earlier in the thread but haven't read all 30 pages.

I've read various discussions about the shorter vs longer studs. What's everyone doing? Sticking with the shorter ones and torquing nits up to 170?
Are there any over zealous MOT inspectors who fail vehicles on the shorter studs because of the appearance that they don't look 100% ??

Can't really see on the majority of pics what the studs are like? 21 Defender D300 H/Top

It is up to you on the stud length. It was good enough for military vehicles with short studs!
What ever length stud you choose - genuine wolf rims always need the 170Nm torque.

I'm a bit of a lurker on this forum, but I've just got some Wolfs and K02s fitted and I'm feeling pretty chuffed. Very Happy
