ATB diff fluid
Hello all,

Have ATB's supplied by winchester in the defender, thinking to replace the fluid even tho the trucks maybe done 2k miles in the last year...

they are recommending Swep-Co 201 seems to be for classic porsches and fairly pricey, anyone else able to recommend something? Not overly fussed

I know Ashcroft recommend mineral oil over synthetic, and I think I’m right in saying that Winchester use an Ashcroft ATB. I used a comma mineral gear oil in mine with no adverse effects.

This is what i got from Winchester,

I'll probably just use it, not like im changing it so often.. or even driving it anymore

"We recommend Swep-Co 201, which is an EP90, with an ATB the Oil needs to be non-synthetic. As long as the EP90 is non-synthetic, this is the equivalent to our Swep-Co 201.

Kind Regards
Winchester Gears"

Your not wrong in that it’s not cheap! I think they are saying any non-synthetic EP90 will be good.

Thanks for all the inputs guys, i think i'll just go with Swepco it's once a year and the defender is only a toy these days.
