Thanks, this is speed limiter, just the adaptive one too

It just won’t engage adaptive unless you turn it on in the menu each trip, it essentially forgets

When it’s on, it works fine, just as the D5, but each restart turns off adaptive, I bet there’s a system error somewhere

Given everyone seems to have it work like the d5 mines got to have something software related up Mike

Great news,
It works a treat on mind that turned up on Friday, but I don’t have wireless CarPlay so can’t be on. Is 3 yet, and as with all new defenders it doesn’t actually show what software I’m on….. L663 90ht

I’ve just taken delivery of my 110 Dynamic SE with the driver assistance pack. I had assumed that when in adaptive cruise control, one would also be able to arm the adaptive speed limiting function. This would automatically slow the car to a more restrictive speed limit when it recognises the lower speed limit sign when in Cruise Control mode. I can only seem to get one or the other working in their own and not together. ie. I can be in adaptive cruise control but the car won’t slow down when going into a speed limited area OR i can have speed limiter switched in but I have to control speed using the accelerator. Is this correct. My wife’s Ford Kuga can have both modes activated at the same time.

Yes you are correct. It’s one or the other. I have the same pack and to be honest I don’t use the limiter function in urban areas. Beware of 20mph speed signs on junctions you are passing or on adjacent streets. The car will see the sign and abruptly slow you to 20mph. The car behind will not appreciate that! 2021 Defender 110 X-Dynamic HSE D300 MHEV

"adaptive speed limiter is not available for this regio
I keep getting the following message pop up "adaptive speed limiter is not available for this region".
I then clear the errors, only for them to return.
I hate the speed limiter (dangerous in my opinion) and have the system set to use cruise control instead.
Anyone with ideas on how to get rid of this message forever?

Another example of this L663, being TOO CLEVER for it's own good. I hate it when it doesn't let ME DRIVE, like I have for the last 50yrs !!!
