Provent 200 installation components
Just missed out on a Provent 200 on here with the KAON adaptors…

Does anyone know where/how I can source the KAON 19mm adaptors in the UK?
I can see listings on the bay of E but from Aus.

Also, which type of ‘new’ pipework are people using? I don’t wish to have any unnecessary joints or in line adaptors so will probably be using new pipework.

I’ve seen some good ideas regarding mounting on here, so that bit is sorted in my mind - just wanted to plan the wider installation before taking the plunge Thumbs Up

Thank you in advance Bow down

For the TD5 you need

The circulation components:

19mm hose
3x 19mm to 19mm connectors
2x 25mm to 19mm reducer hoses
2 25mm jubilee clips
7x 19mm jubilee clips

The oil drain hose:

10-12mm clear hose
1x Drain tap with barb fitting

Image.

Trace the breather hose around to the Provent which is mounted to the heater box.

Thanks Geobloke - helpful information and photo. Thumbs Up

I was hoping to try and fit it without any reducers (using the KAON 19mm adapters) and using only two pieces of new hose without connections if you get what I mean?

Which drain tap did you use?

Thanks,

Will

I can understand that, but I did n't have the choice at the time of sourcing the parts for the mod. As for the tap it is a simple ball valve tap you can get from BandQ or other hardware store.

When I bought a set of the KOAN adapters, I did it directly via eBay and it worked absolutely fine. However, I'd be tempted to buy the Provent 150 model instead as it's still man enough for the engine size but doesn't require adapters at all. It's also slightly cheaper Very Happy Darren

LandRoverAnorak. Have you fitted a 150? If so, do you have any pictures, or guidance as I would like to do the same. From everything I can see the standard commonly available 150 has the intake port flush on the mounting face with no barb for a hose. I think you can special order a different configuration from Mann, but nowhere seems to stock it. I think this is the the reason the 200 is the default choice even though it’s oversize for the job. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

I bought my adaptors direct from Oz, with no problems whatsoever.

There are some photos of my provent 100 in my progress thread and also here. No adapters required https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic82634.html > 110 XS Double Cab
