It's a Defender.
It's build to drive over obstacles. Just go. Hopefully you are on 18' or 19'. |

It could be worse, you could live in Woodmere Avenue, Watford, where the width restriction barriers are vertical posts rather than the bell-shaped bollards. It really seems to separate the competent from the incompetent!
In fact perhaps this should be included as an obstacle on all driving tests....... |

That explains why the house owner has so many bins, clearly they get filled up with car parts……

First thought is, where the original Defender was tall, the new Defender is fat and do not feel too bad at least you can get in to 98% of public car parks in the UK, blinking' height restrictions.
Second thought is I bet you'll be the first in line for a 1.8m wide Grenadier. Third thought is, is there not another way around the width restriction? Forth thought is... How do so many people miss-judge the gap in those vids |

I deal with it by not living in a city. If I lived in a city I'd deal with it by not driving a Defender. https://instagram.com/bentheoandrews |

If they are anything like the ones around here, there were probably on their phone.... I remember being near one we have over a bridge in Deepcut when a convey of army trucks had to do a ten point turn each to turn around. Another time a hard sided truck took his side panel off. Who needs TV.... |
