rear door dims
Does anyone happen to have these 2 measurements handy? New vehicle on the way and I need to get a dog crate for it. Have googled til my fingers bled to find the door aperture dims with no luck

Instead of a dog cage, I went for a rear inner door and guard behind the seats to give the dogs more space. This is the rear door which is purpose made to fit the defender. https://www.travall.co.uk/land-rover/defender-90-2020--

Cheers Martin. Mine is a commercial so there's not the space restriction of the rear seats. We have Trans K9 cages in our other vehicles so will go for one of those, but on their site they only show one double which is not deep enough for our GSDs so I want to do a manual search of the cages hence the need for the dims

As it happens I got the idea from a friend with a 90 HT who has two labs. He seems very happy with the arrangement.

But I had a Lintran crate in my Range Rover and know they work well.

Yes they're very similar. The link you posted though looks a good bit of kit, nice and solid with decent mounts.

I have a Barjo cage made to measure for my defender, it was the first one made, if you ask nicely at Barjo they may tell you, or alternatively if you look on their website they will have the measurements detailed there. It may help on the sizes you need?

I looked at TransK9 as have used them before, their boxes are very good, but for the defender did not give me the head height I needed for the dogs, hence going elsewhere.

The defender 110 depth is still very poor for dogs but I sacrificed that for the head height and square shape. When my car was at LR for its recent problems, I was given a Discovery Sport, I was amazed to see the depth in the boot was deeper than the Defender.

I have the 5 seater version and it is such a shame the rear seats cannot be moved forward or backwards to allow extra legroom or depth in the boot dependant on requirements.

The tk9 cage that fits the new 110 is shallow - I suspect too shallow for our GSD's but the rear aperture is such a pain in the arse shape that most of the others dont fit, and if they do, since mine is a commercial, the depth obscures the luggage bins top lids

This is why I think the inner rear door is such a good solution.

It is - I looked at it again earlier. I would need another full height barrier though just behind the passenger doors
