21.6 PROBLEMS DETECTED WITH DRIVER DEMAND
Hi all, this is my first post, so excuse me if the topic has been discussed but I can’t find anything similar to this.

for some months this thing happened to me, every now and then, not always.
Generally at low revs: either in traffic or in 2nd gear on light dirt, going slowly anyway.

The MIL engine light comes on and the defender no longer accelerates, just idles.
If I turn it off and then on again it restarts and generally for a while the problem does not show up again, then it reappears.

Work carried out to try to eliminate the error in chronological order:
- cleaned the potentiometer and its sensor with contact cleaner
- changed the injector harness and no oil contamination
- sensor changed MAP / IAT
- clean MAF sensor
- changed potentiometer (I believe mine is a 2 track)

The error appeared again while in traffic on Saturday and this is why I am asking you for some help.
Nanocom data:

21.6 PROBLEMS DETECTED WITH THE DRIVER DEMAND (LOGGED)
Track 1 throttle: 0.953v -> 4.718v
Accelerator track 2: 4.353 -> 0.350
Track 3 throttle: 0v -> 10v
Throttle power supply: 5.037v -> 5.037v

I still don’t get how it’s possible that the track 3 gives me values between 0v and 10v.
After the above data I deleted the errors and changed, for curiosity, the setting of the potentiometer on the nanocom from 3 to 2 tracks, and it didn't give any problems for 8km of driving.

What else can I check? I have nanocom, although I’m quite a beginner.

I would have thought that a 2000 year Td5 would only be a two track pedal, and not the later 3 track one.

Hi, yes, i made a mistake:
"...the setting of the potentiometer on the nanocom from 3 to 2 tracks..." -> should be "...the setting of the potentiometer on the nanocom from 2 to 3 tracks...".

This weekend the error came up twice again.

Maybe i should re-do the wiring from the pedal to the ECU?
I was looking at the electrical diagrams of the TD5 and need a clarification:
what is header 0291 (K109), it doesnt appear in the connector library, and where is it? Shocked Shocked

I’ve redone the wiring from ecu to pedal 3 or 4 times now using trailer cable (as it has enough strands inside) and it not that difficult to do.
