I don’t have a problem getting out of mine in normal UK sized parking spaces, but then I can park properly in the middle of the space unlike many it seems.

Ah but you folks over in Germany have probably updated your car parking space specifications since the 1960s. Here in good ol Blighty we set out spaces that are just big enough to get a Rover Metro in to and be able to open the doors.

When it comes to the new Defender, these are the new parking rules...

And bearing in mind that is a 90, a 130 is just going to stick out much much further. Even if this driver did park between the lines, if there were other vehicles on either side he'd have to get out the rear door.

That’s a 110, 2 door handles give it away. 90 would need to be parked in the next bay to get out. 24MY 90 D250 HSE, Tasman Blue

How long before there’s a 130 HT or commercial? Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed!

I'm interested if the boot space is decent, I might order a PHEV and see which comes first the Range Rover or Defender. I imagine it will be a close race ! 110 MY23.5 X Dynamic HSE

You'll end up needing a Category C license to take the dog for a walk with that big brute... Rolling with laughter

Not me, I’m going to reduce in size to a 90 - no passengers, no dogs and my Mini has a bigger seats up boot capacity (but the rear seats are only suited for those with very short legs……) and at least the Mini’s boot floor is completely flat when the seat do get folded. Problem for the Mini is it’s not great off-road…..or as mine is the all electric one, not great for drives more than 120 miles duration without a charge stop Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come

I assume that those undertaking the all terrain adventure will only be wearing the clothes they started in and a small wash bag each to squeeze into the remaining boot space………

Unless of cause your all terrain adventure consists of you and seven naked nymphomaniacs……hey, you never know…… Whistle
