Its gone well beyond a joke this, I think they are just using the war as an excuse to push it further, and the media is not helping at all. By panicking the public into going in a spending frenzy, which will make the petrol stations think Xmas has come early again and ramp up the prices. I left my 110 at the dealers 3 weeks ago with ¾ full tank…………. Been watching the app daily to see if the fuel level has dropped while it’s in the supposedly secure storage……… only another 2 months to wait for the required parts to repair it and two months watching for the tank to empty remotely!
I went to Sainsbury on Tuesday evening and had to queue on the main road to get in because so many people blocking the access to their forecourt waiting but also blocking access to their supermarket carpark for smug smart folks like me in our EV’s……. Usually Sainsbury have staff out directing everyone into their large carpark to avoid people queuing for the forecourt or the MacDonalds cafe blocking the main road. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed! |

My local Shell have been named and shamed over their overinflated diesel prices, it was all over the press and social media. They’ve since dropped it to a bargain basement price of 183.9p . Shell in the next town is 165.7p for diesel. 24MY 90 D250 HSE, Tasman Blue

most places are now into the 1.70s, Some supermarkets are still in the mid 1.60s. But for how long who knows. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

The oil price has dropped quite dramatically , below $100 a barrel, so prices should start to drop soon.
Although they always go up much faster than they go down🤔🤔 2002 td5 90 county hardtop |

well one petrol station i passed the other night was 1.79, the next day it was 1.83. So if oil in dropping, then why the hell are the prices still ramping up? Diesel is practically 10p more than petrol, in some places. One of the lads who used to be on the 306 forum, clocked one petrol station at 1.90. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

No way will they drop to the 1.20s the petrol stations are raking the profits in now. The AA and RAC, said at Xmas why are we still paying 12p more due to the price of oil dropping, and that was at xmas, if anything it stayed put at 1.47. One shell garage i pass on the morning shift, is always the 1st one to ramp up prices of fuel. The one i used to go to around my way. That was even higher, the all need to be wound right back down to £1, even then that's too expensive.
