It was a stunning build originally and an impressive transformation. It is also impressive how well it has "scrubbed up" now, the presentation is as good as it gets.
I have to ask thought why did you decide to remove the cage, was it to make it more widely saleable? It must have involved quite a lot of work, and I would have thought that on a vehicle as distinctive as that it might not have the off-putting effect on buyers that it might on lesser vehicles. |

Hi Blackwolf, thanks for the praise. I removed the cage indeed to make the vehicle more widely saleable. It was a fair amount of work - but as the car was getting re-sprayed and I wanted to have that done properly it made the most sense. Also, the cage would have needed to have been stripped and re-powder coated to bring it up to scratch with the rest of the car and it just didn’t make sense to do this.
