Hi John,
Please may I ask why you are fitting the Provent?
Are you trying to address a particular issue?
Sorry for temporarily disrupting your thread/post.
Cheers
Will

I am trying to reduce oil into the breather and stop fumes escaping out the the half moon at the rear of the head. I have tried a new DCV, new gaskets and no joy.

Have a look at the 150 rather than the 200. They're more than man enough for the engine size and are both smaller and cheaper. Darren

200 is about £140 last time i looked.

Doesn't the 150 have weird flush connection on the back that requires a milled face to mount to? I might be wrong, but I vaguely remember a thread on here where a member showed how he's done it. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

I'd have to check to be sure, but I think the 150 is straightforward. The 200 requires an adapter to mate with the engine pipework (on a Puma at least) and a company in Aus makes and sells them. They add a fair amount to the total cost by the time they're shipped over. Darren

What’s the company, if you don’t mind sharing? Searching for my first Defender...and started just as Covid hit, so talk about timing.

5 months after starting the search I found it, and here is the details

Sorry to hijack your thread...

It is also worth considering a Provent 100. I fitted one in August 2020 and it has coped with the engine size fine.

They are much cheaper, much more compact and have 19mm barbed connections which match the existing breather pipework on the Defender

It's Kaon4x4. I think I bought mine via Aus eBay but they now have a website with them on:

I hadn't looked at ProVent 100. I went with ProVent 200 as that seems to be one of the popular ones on here.

Did anyone manage to source a Provent 200?

The Provent 100 seems good to ~130HP, so on a standard engine it’s grand. But any modification to the engine map, it seems the 200 is needed.
