If I've found the right product, the manufacturer suggests the 100 is fine for up to 200kw, which is what, 250bhp ish?
https://oem.mann-hummel.com/en/oem-product...0-300.html I must admit, at about £80, I'm tempted https://brickwerks.co.uk/product/mann-provent-100-recirculate/ I have no link to that company, just one of the first ones I located. do your own checks etc etc!! |

Provent 100 looks promising then.
Question is, if the Provent 100 is good enough, even for a remapped 2.4 Puma, why is almost everyone else installing the Provent 200? I'm definitely installing one of these but need more information before I buy the kit. Much appreciate all the feedback and advice all y'all can give. |

So it seems the 100 is ok upto 200kw. What about blowby on the 2.2/2.4? Guess this will be the limiting factor between the 100 and 200..

Happy with my 200. It's been on a few years now, and it has caught some crap which would otherwise have shortened the life of my air filter. Good mod I think

200 is huge which doesn't make things any easier in the cramped puma engine bay. Plus it has the wrong sized fittings which need reducers.
I think 200 was the generally accepted model that got mentioned on forums so naturally everybody went for it. 100 is simpler to fit (smaller and has 19mm fittings to match existing defender fittings) > 110 XS Double Cab |
