It wont if you turn the ignition on and off, remove the key and within 15 seconds detach the battery terminals. It's all explained in the owner's manual. (the what I hear people say Wink

Tried the ignition on-off thing - I found 15 seconds was not enough time to get out, run round, grab ratchet, and disconnect safely. Tried a couple of dry runs, just not long enough. Big Cry

Let the alarm howl, it goes quiet after about 60 second and them makes a squeak every 20 seconds! Neutral

Won't have that madness to deal with for at least 5 Years (I hope) Zaid-M

Just remove the ignition key from the passenger’s side the disconnect the negative lead?
15 seconds as ample time.

Laughing You can loosen the terminal a bit before actually removing them.
Also helps if you have a LHD Whistle
