Click image to enlarge How far your tyres sits to the back depend on the lift you have. These are also 35" but I modified the wheelarces a little to be able to drive off-road. I have about 7 cm suspension lift. Slightly off topic I appreciate, but I'm keen to know which 35" tyre sizes are you both using, and what rim offset to be able to fit under the standard arches (albeit with a little snip on Roel's edges)? 2005 Td5 90 XS

I have approx 95mm clearance on mine.
Thats with a 50mm lift however and +50mm arches on ET-32 Wheels. Tyres are 315/75/16 BFG KM3 I'd think wheels with less offset would start to limit steering lock. @roel - are yours 10.5 or 12.5 width? Click image to enlarge |

Thanks Camelman, looks like your centre cap is running in line with the centre of the wheel arch. I may have to do some correction on mine |

Click image to enlarge These are 35 x 10,5 x R16. The rims are 8J ET 0 I believe. This all is a bit wide for the standard arches but still have a good turning circle. Thanks Roel. So potentially ET10 would make them a bit more 'legal' in the UK where the tread must be within the bodywork, although this would likely depend also then on what tyres you were running. 2005 Td5 90 XS

A quick measurement: The outside off the widest block on the tread sticks 20 mm out and the widest part off the tire about 35 mm. This is probably also not completely legal in The Netherlands as the tire is allowed stick out 30 mm and the track width may only be increased by 2%. But it looks like they only stop tuned cars for that.
