As LRA said Startech...
I bought my Defender with 6K mileage on it with this Wheel fitted... (I had never seen one before). Very personal choice as to what owners preferer. For me I really don't like the original, IMO the centre 'bulk' is just too much, partially obscuring the instruments (when turning), and even if as speculated this area was potentially intended for an air bag it just doesn't 'sit' right for me. The move to smaller wheel helps with the compromised space available for the driver, and reduces the hand movement with the somewhat vague steering with a Defender. For me the number one issue (having inherited the wheel) was to fit a QRM (Quick Release Mechanism) I would never have a Defender without this feature, (but I know opinion varies here). The Startech is small enough and light enough to be carried easily... but it's a quality product. How secure can you make your Defender... makes me think of the two hunters running from a lion, with the first hunter saying that lion can run faster than us and the second hunter replying... yes... but I only need to run faster than you. My Startech has now done 50K Mileage and has the slightly polished characteristics in a few places as you would expect with the leather... I still love it and with this product, even though expensive, i'd buy one again... now I see it as one of my must have features (Security-Startech-Sat Nav-Sun Roof). Some shots of it in my Studio... I've had a Momo Prototipo & Optimill center in the car for 3 years now.
Fits, looks and feels great! Still as happy as the day I got it  110 HT TD5 w/ PopTop for travelling

At 6ft4 / 193cm, the extra space was welcome although not necessary. What I most liked is the extra resistance in the steering from the reduced lever from the smaller wheel. I spent all day looking at changing the worn out steering wheel on my truck only to realise that most aftermarket wheels push the wheel further into the cab. Being a pick-up my back is already pressed hard to glass, I gave up and ordered a new standard wheel.
Feeling hard done by as all the images of new wheels posted look great... |

You can get low profile bosses, which don't push the wheel out. I've tried the little wheels but I always go back to the big standard one, so there it stays 👍
