Wales 2012 Defender 90 Other SW Keswick Green
Just to add more to the statistics - I finished the first 2.500km with our MY11 90 and got 34.3 mpg on average. Never forget: cars have owner, Landrover have field service personnel.

Ditto,
Except once I got something like 32mpg???? Didn't argue with the math. 2008 Defender 110 60 year Edition (sold unfortunately)

I reckon that is about 33mpg if the orange light comes on with 10 litres remaining, thats good for 110

Just wish the 90 had the same range

I think then i do have problem 17.4 mpg
The used formula is: mpg = 235.214584 / DIN
Is this the worst on the forum?
Lots of short trips bad traffic but got much much better results in a toyota d4d Fortuner (hilux) which also had a roof rack-
maybe shouldn't say i had a Toyota Embarassed
should i go back to the stealers they going to tell me i have a roof rack and Cooper STT Big Cry Puma lots of extras

My first fill up in mine (first Defender I have owned)

I was impressed with 29mpg (110 SW)

I was driving it normally, as I would my normal car... short school run trips, motorways just using it as I used my previous normal car.

My second tank I'm trying to change up before 2000 revs just to see what it gets, Its seems its actually happier cruising around than rushing through the gears and reving it. Its not that sort of car I'm happy plodding Smile

We are off to the lake district soon camping to a good test also

Belgium 2013 Defender 90 Puma 2.2 HT Tamar Blue
Hi

I return 29 -30 mpg with my 90 2.2TDCI Hard top since new (now 55.000 kms) .

Relax driving, mimimun of extra kits and regular service (by mysellf since new !!!) seems to be the keywords

My past DiscoI 300TD1 reaches 33-33 mpg for the same use but was a little bit slower on highways

Cheers

John Brussels
