Yes, but not in that price band. Something like this gives reasonable security, it can be opened but not quickly and not without skill and (expensive) tools, or possibly explosives!




I am not aware of any relatively cheap lockboxes which provides anything approximating acceptable security. There are cheap locks and there are good locks, but there is no such thing as a good cheap lock.

Anyway, i think the box is quite hidden, and most important, here in Buenos Aires, and all Argentina, many cars are stolen, but no Defenders. There are as few trucks here and are so striking that there are not the usual target of thievs.

I was thinking "oh dear..." when I saw the picture. When we were kids, we used to make fun of picking number code bicycle locks in the school yard and changing the code or putting them on other bikes Soo easy. Recently I saw a similar lock and they haven't changed much in decades...

Also I would hide any box away from mud and sight.
