Hello,
I'm looking at replacing my truck cab rear window with a single piece of glass and doing away with the opening frame. I never open it, have A/C and don't like it opening all the time (see photo). Has anyone ever done such a thing? Cheers ππ»ππ»ππ» Click image to enlarge |

Does seem expensive though. If you could find a local vehicle glazier to cut the glass to shape then the rubber seal is pennies per metre > 110 XS Double Cab |

Click image to enlarge I have the VGS tinted fitted. Best this I ever did in the 90 to stop it's rattle so did the same in the HiCap. Still have the sliding screen if any one is looking for one. 300tdi 90 CSW 2.2tdci 110 HCPU 1972 Series 3 88" Truck Cab |

I was initially liking the openable Masai, but the openable VGS one looks far more useful due to its ability to open a full 90Λ

^^ It looks good, and being polycarbonate should be less at risk from junk in the back.
I am a little surprised that no-one offers a similar product which doesn't require the opening in the rear of the cab to be enlarged though. |

I was also looking for some fixed ones for my Hard top but couldn't find anything.
I ended up ordering 2 slidey and 2 gullwing ones from https://explore-glazing.nl/en/products/land-rover-defender. The company originally specialises in coach/bus windows. Will fit them in the coming weeks. F 110 HT TD5 w/ PopTop for travelling 110 CSW 300tdi for hunting |

Sadly nothing there to fit the rear window in a truck cab or double cab (which annoyingly is a significantly different size to the standard HT side windows).

Blackwolf, using the same windows would have required common sense from Land Rover though, and we all know they didnt have any of that

The standard big HT ones are the same as center rear windos on pickups. 110 HT TD5 w/ PopTop for travelling 110 CSW 300tdi for hunting |

I don't think so, they're similar but a different size. There is an old thread somewhere on here where this subject was comprehensively discussed.
