I used 40mm solvent weld water pipe from screwfix, the actually outside diameter is 42.5mm, this is perfect for the turbo end of the turbo to intercooler hose.

The passenger side hose from the intercooler is a slightly larger diameter, a female ‘40mm’ coupling should be about right for this at approx. 45 - 47mm.

To close this one off, new intercooler fitted and we’re back in business! I would have liked a uprated version but funds are a little tight and I needed the 90 back on the road so went for the Bearmach ‘standard’ intercooler.

Here’s the original which had covered 78k miles.

Thanks gents, I think I will make one up, ready to find the inevitable leak on a hose or split intercooler.
I really should get ahead of the game and replace the parts before they fail. The only trouble is following that principle I would rebuild the entire truck every 3 years given the longevity of most parts Very Happy
