There isn't much choice in the engine bay, but there is behind the dash and a wire can easily be taken from the IGN and pushed through the bulkhead grommet the power whatever you need to.
What are you wanting to power off the IGN feed? If something that requires a lot of current you will have to fit a relay. EDIT: There is an IGN live on the back of the alternator that you would have to splice in to, but it is in the engine bay. |

As said. You are far better, and it’s easier to get the required power from behind the dash binnacle and there is also room to get it through the bulkhead grommet.

There’s an ignition live in the engine bay, by the heater box there’s a multiplug, can’t remember the colour but is definitely there
It’s where I took the feed for my drl’s from |

Image is just from google, but to the right of the heater matrix there’s a large grey connector which is where I took the ignition feed
