check out the clutch threads on here that sounds like a rattle from the clutch or the transmission caused by the clutch
what clutch you got and how many miles on it DEFENDER 90 TDCI XS, I hope everyone is well and your land rovers make you happy |

That is most likely to be your Defender telling you it needs a new driven plate, a very well known issue with the TDCi especially with the earlier clutches. There are many threads on here on the subject.
Incidentally you are confusing "in" and "out" when talking about the clutch - "in" means engaged (pedal up), and "out" means disengaged (pedal pressed). It is amazing how many people make this mistake. |

As above. Worn or loose/broken spring on clutch driven plate. I have a similar video of mine when it was rattling but struggling to post it
