Check the wiring behind the O/S headlight , mine had chaffed through

Had exactly the same problem, thought it was my grandson yanking on the stalk that broke it but turned out both horns had failed, think one failed a while ago, didn’t realise there were two, replaced and all ok, access by removing the headlights and pots, I tried removing them first and tweaking the grey adjustment screw, they worked fine for a few days then had to do it all again to replace them
