Is also available on Amazon too, has gone up in price but]y about at least £60 since I bought mine. Rolling Eyes
It is a good unit, I’m pleased with it and run a Mopar reverse camera all good.
Let’s me display the camera manually if I want it to or to come on auto with reverse.

Best unit I’ve had, I use it with Tom Tom Go nav and it works really really good. Speed camera locations live speed and all of that kind of thing too for £12 a year. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R

A lot less involved than a 2 DIN, if you’ve got an 07 to 2012 Def. Then it’ll plug straight in DIN ISO connector.
If you’ve got a 12 to 2016, it’ll be the same except for that you will need a plug in electrical adaptor.
Which isn’t costly.
It comes with a fitting cage and everything you would need, then on thing it doesn’t have compared to 2 DIN is HDMI input but that doesn’t worry me at all.
Works well with the rear camera I have. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R

Recently been looking at upgrade my single din unit to a flip out screen, I did want to go down the double din route but after pricing up the double din surround plus a DD unit I thought may as well stick with a single din with a flip out screen - I wanted to check on the older style dashboards that have this mounting surround

Will there be enough room for the screen to flip out and not hit the upper part of the dash?? Like where the coin tray is as the surround is angled upwards.

Has anyone fitted a flip out with the older style pre 1999 dash?

There is angle adjustment but I am not sure how much. Best thing to do would be to look up the specs and or ask technical advice from the manufacturer.

If I remember rightly there is adjustment in and out as well as tilt angle, but as you have figured there is a maximum angle.

The other option would be a different centre dash housing so it is more horizontal like a Puma. Does such a thing exist?

Here is the AVH 7200DAB manual, it doesn’t tell you the exact angle of degrees that it has but the drawings give you a good idea of the angle of adjustment.
