Well I've finally given up and ordered an BMW X45E. It seems LR can build the diesel versions but unable to build the P400 versions. |

Eagle Brae, correct. Fantastic road trip from the south and the Defender feels a bit more used. Very good and settled on the motorways and in its element on the rough tracks to loch car parks etc. Kids were happy too - bought a couple of those 3D printed tablet holders to clip in the back of the front seats.
The funniest moment was when we stopped at Lake Windermere for a couple of nights last weekend after the heavy rain they had in Cumbria. We approached a closed road due to flooding and a guy came though in a small hatchback hire car, wound down high window and told me you could get through is you took it nice and slow. I think 900mm was around his wing mirror so guessed I would be ok! |
