I think it is because they are prioritising high spec cars (in this case an HSE) with low numbers of technological options.

I hope yours follows close behind! Carpathian Grey 110 D300 HSE

yea could be I "only" have an D250 SE on order well it's anyway €83,205 ... doesn't sound so low spec
Laughing
Funny, I just looked at the German configurator and I'm unable to get a HSE configuration anymore! SE is the highest in the normal 110 version only in the X-Dynamic version you can get a HSE spec... 110 D250 SE Tasman Blue, white roof, black pack, advanced towing pack, rear diff locker, driver assist

I picked up my new Defender yesterday;

110 D300 HSE with;

Carpathian Grey
Convenience Pack
Front & Rear Cameras
Half dog guard (i.e. only above seat backs)
Clearsight Mirror
Large PiviPro Screen

Very happy with it so far - drives very well - relaxing most of the time and a serious turn of speed when needed. Carpathian Grey 110 D300 HSE

Now it is keeping fingers crossed that it'll not get deslotted or moved.... Exclamation
Anyone an idea if it will be a MY23 or still MY22 version?

Just had a another call from the dealer today Crying or Very sad

Started off in June ordering a 90 SE 200, got the first call soon after that, sorry no 200 engines anymore, but here’s £1250 towards your £3500 increase to a 90 SE 250.

Then my next call, why not spend a little more for the 90 XS Edition, it should be available for you sooner, brilliant! so quite happily I jump in for another £2K increase and upgraded to that.

Today l’m told no more XS editions, but here’s £1500 towards the closest equivalent model, the 2023 90 X Dynamic SE, which when you add in the options required to actually equate it to the rather well kitted out XS Edition spec, I find myself looking at a £10K more expensive car than when I started Shocked

And of course, absolutely no indication of when I might actually get it.

Are these the going rate financial compensations for the Censored about over the spec / model year changes?

Popped into my Dealership to drink bubbly while tyre kicking at the new Range Rover walk around, and had the news that there is a good chance I'll be able to pick up my Defender XS between Christmas and the New year,This will be confirmed on the 17th as this is apparently factory cut off day delivery before Christmas!.
The Range Rover looks absolutely stunning , but the prices are eye watering the 3 on the walk around starting at £95000 2nd Autobiography £134000 and the Petrol V8 £184000!. But much for me with muddy wellies and muddy dogs.. Rolling with laughter

Similar has happened to me with a 90xs but no compensation offered. I will be having words with the dealership.

I've just had my price protection confirmed. Base price protected between 22MY and 23MY P400XS 110. I thought they may bulk at this due to the discount I had achieved on the vehicle.

Had a call from my dealer yesterday, they have 10 build slots coming up and was offered one of those if I was prepared to ditch the ClearSight Rear View Mirror. Was tempted but really like ClearSight, and if Im spending £75k I'd like my preferred specification, so my order will stay in the holding pool.
