What about a deal where you swap your existing wheels and tyres with the the alloys of the new vehicle on handover? Darren

Looks like the D300 110 HSE I ordered on 8th July is at the dealers. Hopefully pick it up on Monday. I have no idea if the spec is what I ordered but as the only extra was a deployable tow bar I’m pretty hopeful. Defender D350 X-Dynamic HSE 110 MY25 Carpathian Grey

My order was 8th July too. Build completed on 22nd December, landed at the dealer on 12th January and had my extras fitted the same day. I collected it on Sunday 16th December.
Oh, and it's bloody amazing! So delighted with it.

OK update - just called the dealer, build date has been shifted to 4 weeks to March 11th. This is unfortunate
 as I was really close and excited - but good thing is it looks like all is still in there.

So order was June 7th 2021
Confirmation June 18th 2021 Dealer was able to submit to build late November 2021. Confirmed at the timer as Last change January 12th Build date February 11th Now it’s Last change February 9th Build date March 11th So still in the anticipated 9 month from order to delivery timeframe BUT I am a bit disappointed… Well so I will watch allllll the youtuber videos again in the next 8 weeks..  110 D250 SE Tasman Blue, white roof, black pack, advanced towing pack, rear diff locker, driver assist |

That might explain it. LR took until December to decided whether they could build it as an 22MY or 23MY. Resigned the order on 17 Dec for the 23MY. (Most were advised Oct/ Nov time)

and it just keep going....
Ordered 4th July SE 110 with lots of extras - initially promised by dealer a September delivery 
In November still unslotted for build and I was told would have to reorder as MY23 vehicle without three key extras I wanted  and had paid for but the price was being held so that was ok (sarcasm here!)
In mid December I was given a Vista printout showing a build date of 18th Feb, delivery 11 March - at least I had a foot in the door. This week I was starting to get excited as I should have passed the committed to build date so I contacted dealer to make sure the build date have been locked in to find its slipped by 2 months, so now got a build date of 15th April... WTF... how can you slip two months in one month? This whole saga has taken all the joy out of buying this car and at the moment I feel like I'll never actually get it, or if I do it will have been de-spec'd again... So disappointed... Because you ordered an SE. More profit on a HSE etc so they are being prioritised. Lowly spec vehicles then get pushed down the list. Bit I don't get, someone said they'd ordered a 90HT the other day with a 12-18 month lead time. So that puts it definitely in 24MY possibly 25MY.
