Which was always a little confusing if VAT is the main/only difference between the two then it should have been £40k and £48k.

But yes, there does feel to be a bit of bait and switch going on when we've only really seen the Station Wagon, quoted £45k retail, and now it's £48k for 2 seats and no rear side glass!

indeed - saw somewhere the 5 seat versions are "about £5k more" which puts that at £53k instead of £45k.... quite a hike!

its plausible that 45k wasnt OTR and so didnt include the what 2k first year VED?

Can someone help out on some clarification please.
Road tax for the M1 SW will be different to the N1 commercial 5 seat version. The N1 commercial will have slightly different speed limits, but does it also suffer from the raised road tax for the first 5 years?
Also the only difference I can really see between commercial and M1 SW is the more upright rear seats due to the small amount of extra boot space.
Anyone know what the road tax is likely to be and if there are any other differences as the savings for getting a commercial could outweigh the benefits of getting a SW.

Further talk of the 7 seater model to follow "There will also be a twin-cab pick-up version, which has a longer wheelbase – likely to pave the way for a seven-seat Station Wagon."

"the roof guttering allows people to, with minor mods, put an existing roof rack on as well as the one we will offer." ~ not seen their offering yet, but I wonder what I need to swap over my Patriot rack?

Thast SWB render reminds my so much of a g-wagon. As I understand it they dont sell those professional versions anymore.

Additional pricing info coming out of Australia (if true and interesting if similar model to be applied worldwide) :

"Five-seat Ineos Grenadier priced from about $85,500

An extra row of seats in the Land Rover Defender-inspired four-wheel drive come at a premium of less than $1000, compared to the base two-seat model."

"These prices will apply to both petrol- and diesel-powered Grenadiers, with a fixed pricing model for Australia removing any room for negotiation by customers."
