Stunning pal. Japanese 50ths are one of my all time favourites - will watch with interest.

Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Lots of wiring to strip out and get back to original starting with the Japanese satnav and the toll reader. A period genuine radio cassette will be going in. Externally the paint seems pretty fair with small amount of lacquer lift to wing. Rubbers will need replacing to windscreen and alpine windows. Renewal of exhaust and genuine mudflaps to fit. Side steps are rotten through. |

Not yet. There was a forum member that might have a lose one nearby, but haven’t heard back yet. Basically looking to get enough measurements to model one on Fusion360 so I can mod a euro one to match. |

Your steps were new Dan so they've not lasted long. The bumper is different - the receiver is plated over but definitely NAS with the tubular bracing and it still has the OEM sticker.

Where do you find such vehicles? Or is that a secret? Can't believe some thing could be left for 7 years untouched when there is very little wrong with it.

Let me know when you want the glass and rubbers replacing…

8 years ago I imported a 50th and a friend from the Wirral then followed and this was his project. I completed mine and subsequently sold it to Hairy Dan. Unfortunately this was to remain untouched under cover in dry storage and because of circumstances my friend is unable to do anything further. I was asked if I would buy it to help us both out with certain life issues and so here she is. |
