Oi - I have two spare, they're conveniently in smaller pieces for reduced shipping costs.
I do have one intact spare crank but it is a V8 one from Nige intended for a table... Ed 82 Hotspur Sandringham 6x6 95 Defender 110 300Tdi |

P gasket! Mine (300tdi)was using water randomly without trace recently and eventually traced to the P gasket.
It's a poor design fault, mine was leaking when I got it over 5 yrs ago and started again recently so this time I replaced the metal gasket with a diy cut card gasket and so far so good. Worth trying before you start ripping heads off? |

Sorry a bit late with the reply, but it's not the P gasket as she is consistently drinking water more now and it seems to be the same symptoms as when the original head cracked in three places 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up.

I was going to send it away to be tested but my indy showed what he suspected and took the exhaust valve out as it had some rusty water marks around the edge of it and he found a crack in the head by the shaft were the valve stem goes through 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up.

My rover metros vvc engine started to blow from the exhaust side of the head gasket, and that was down to, who ever assembled the head back on the car, They had decided to use a early generation head gasket. They had spent a few quid on getting the head ported and polished but decided skimp on that. I recon to this day, it was just a odd ball special, that was built up to get a car on the road. Because when me and my dad, did the head gasket on it, we found one of the pistons looking very black. So who ever is running around in that engine, will have a bit of a surprise at some point Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back
