Clutch or not to Clutch is that the noise?

Hi,

I have a 2008 110 with the 2.4 puma engine which I have owned for about a year. every now an then when pulling away from a junction and more frequently when off road ( so under strain ) I have this strange rattle/stroke vibration which almost sounds like when you spring an old ruler on the table if that makes sense?.

Someone suggested it could be the spiggot bearing so therefore change the whole clutch etc. ?

The second question is if I do is it worth sticking to with genuine or an alternative?

Lof, Transit 4x4, and clutchfix clutch’s all have their fans on here ahead of the gen landrover offering. But while you are in there you need to have the output shaft checked for wear and replaced if needed. Greased versions from landrover or updated version from Ashcroft or more radical one piece solution from Lof are available.
