They should only need one gasket each, so you've got a couple of spares.
Spring washers are not a standard part, although they are a good idea. They remove the temptation to use thread lock, which can be a bad idea as there are many stories of bolts sheared off in the hub. When I did mine, I used galvanised cap head bolts and springs washers, torqued to 65Nm: Click image to enlarge A bit more detail here: https://www.defender2.net/forum/post727193.html#727193 Darren 110 USW BUILD THREAD - EXPEDITION TRAILER - 200tdi 90 BUILD THREAD - SANKEY TRAILER - IG@landroveranorak "You came in that thing? Unless you're of the opinion that spring washers do basically nothing
I believe they come with threadlock from the factory? |

Thanks for that.
I’ll make sure I don’t rip any gaskets then. Fortunately mine came with the cap head bolts from IRB. Will have to see about getting spring washers then. |

I find the channel very amusing, and he is knowledgable engineer. It takes a while to get used to his turns of phrase though. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS
