air flow meter low (current) ( suspect bad maf)
When i goto rev engine up it picks up from idle 770 to about 950 and then coughs and returns to idle and engine warning light comes on. do have 12v at the MAF plug pin 3 =12v + pin 1= 0v pin 2 = sig out to ecu looking at the plug with clip at the top left hand pin is (1) only power up with ecu Have tried changing setting from 2way on pedal to 3 way, come completely out of diagnostics and turn ign off. Wait a short time and restart and still the same. how is going work as you missing extra wring in your loom for the 3 way pedal set up 3 track throttle pot used from 1A605426 defender Last edited by dorsetsmith on 20th Aug 2021 10:02am. Ye si have 12v at the maf pin and a earth in oposite end pin. Checked continuity with meter between maf centre pin and ecu and thats good.
Maf is inknown to me as came with the engine |

1) tachometer drive open load (current) this is ecu output drive for tachometer fitted or not
2) gearbox/abs drive open load (logged) do you have ABS or auto gear box ? or did ECU parts set up have one or both 3) glow plug lamp drive open load (logged) this is ecu output drive for glow plug lamp on the dash |

Ita a manual, no abs and no rev counter.
Currently running it up on garage floor before fitment so the glow plug light is not connected so that explains that one |
