Yeah, pretty much all larger modern cars are getting on for 6 1/2 feet wide.

I wonder how well it will fit in central London?

Should be fine given a Range Rover is no problem.

All cars are getting bigger.

The Mini is really no longer very mini

The Fiesta is almost the size of the original Mk1 Focus

Even the Fiat 500 is a giant if compared to the original.

Sadly, parking spaces don’t seem to be increasing in size. If anything they are decreasing.

I have worked on some projects where I couldn’t believe how small the car park spaces were designed.

Most cars are now bigger than modern new build garages - but no one seems to use garages for putting cars in these days.

Think I still prefer it in the Blue. Hopefully they offer more solid body colours rather than metallics. 24MY 90 D250 HSE, Tasman Blue

Yep. Needs a 4" lift kit, big tyres, KBX grille...then it may start to look presentable...ish. Now left.

I'm getting a very strong "Jurassic Park" vibe off that colour scheme - I quite like it!

The photo certainly gives that initial impression, but if you transfer over certain reference points ~ top of bumper, wing top, wheelarch, and roofline, then that alters things.

There was a side profile comparison done by Andrew St Pierre White (albeit on a rendering rather than prototype) that showed ride height/ground clearance was similar:

Nothing says this like a photo comparison:
