Use them, or get some 2mm closed cell foam and make your own

Tiger seal would work - or what about 1 or 2mm neoprene/rubber and use the plate as a pattern? Rgds.

Cheers. I’ll have a go at trimming back the gasket it has come with. It’s not close cell foam, it sort of a medium cell foam! Will see how it holds up, but it doesn’t exactly cut neatly. Time will tell!

Go for 2mm closed cell adhesive foam in black or whichever colour.
Clean the underside of the CP well, rubbing alcohol is ideal. Adhere it to the CP and then cut off excess around the edges. A scalpel and a cutting mat is ideal although a little more tricky if the CP is coated or painted. You could use some 3M 3434 blue tape to protect the edges. I’m not sure what mine has under it as I didn’t fit it, I think nothing but couldn’t guarantee it but it’s staying where it is so doesn’t worry me. You could cut the excess off a few mm in from the edge from the underside did you wanted to as well but you will blunt your blade tips and ideally need a tape for a cutting guide. As it’s hidden you’d never notice but you may get the edge contact the paintwork though instead. ⭐️⭐️God Bless the USA 🇬🇧🇺🇸 ⭐️⭐️ |

I’ve trimmed it up about 2mm short on all end he and it fits quite well now. The only thing is that the CP is black and the gasket is light grey. If it looks crap I’ll take it off and order some black closed cell foam.

I’ve just had my cp powder coated and needed new gasket. I used this stuff.

Yep, that’s the stuff.
I used it as a backing for various interior electrical bits I installed as well. ⭐️⭐️God Bless the USA 🇬🇧🇺🇸 ⭐️⭐️ |
